Our white gold grillz are a mix of pure gold with 1 or more white metals. Typically palladium, nickel or silver is used. These metals do two things, give the white gold its silvery color, but also made it harder. However, nickel can often cause irritation in some users. In most white gold grillz are coated with a thin layer of rhodium which gives the grillz a shiny white color. The rhodium gives the grillz a shiny white polish and stop oxidation and corrosion.
